Tidewright

You run a lone tide-gauge station on an alien ocean world where the sea rises and falls in violent cycles. Each day you pilot a small tender to survey drowned ruins during low tide, then retreat to rewire and rebuild your station before the water returns. Sell your charts and salvaged parts to passing caravans of floating markets to fund bigger expeditions.

What sets it apart

Where Subnautica and Oceaneers are about surviving and building in the water, this is a tide-timed surveying and trading game in which the ocean level itself is the clock and the puzzle.

The loop

  • Read the tide forecast and choose a ruin to survey.
  • Dive in the exposed ruin, mapping and salvaging before the water rises.
  • Return to the station, sell charts, and upgrade your tender.

First playable

A single procedurally laid-out ruin in 3D with a rising-water timer, a few salvage pickups, and a station screen to spend scrap on a longer-lasting air tank.
