Bakery Siege Online

Two to four bakers share one kitchen and pass ingredients between oven turrets and dough traps to hold off raiding pigeons.

29% of Multiplayer Tower Defense games found an audience, yet few came out lately. 47 of 140 judged games reached 1,000 reviews, and 35 came out in the last three years.

What it feels like

You feel like a frantic kitchen crew where every handoff of flour or sugar keeps the defense alive.

The core loop

  • Stock: Grab ingredients from pantry stations around the shared kitchen map.
  • Pass: Hand or toss ingredients to teammates so each oven turret gets the right ammo.
  • Defend: Oven turrets and dough traps hit pigeon waves that come from different windows and vents.
  • Expand: Spend earnings between waves on new ovens, recipes and kitchen upgrades.

One sitting

One run is a short shift of ten or so waves with friends, ending with a recipe unlock or a new kitchen layout. Players can drop in and out between shifts.

What sets it apart

  • Ingredients act as live ammo that players hand to each other, so co-op is the core mechanic instead of a bolt-on mode like in Bloons TD 6.
  • Each wave announces its pigeon types up front, which answers the complaint about unexplained difficulty spikes.
  • One flat price with no real-money unlocks or grind, so every recipe comes from play.

The first playable

One kitchen map with two players, one oven turret type, two ingredients and one pigeon type. Test whether passing ingredients under pressure is fun.

Scope

  • One map and two player local or online session
  • One oven turret and one trap
  • Two ingredients and one enemy type
  • Simple wave timer
  • Three or four kitchen maps
  • Around eight turret and trap recipes
  • Four player online co-op with invites
  • Survival mode with rising waves and a boss pigeon

Art

Bright flat colors with chunky shapes and thick outlines, drawn from a top-down view. A clear silhouette for each oven and pigeon keeps the capsule readable.

Risks

  • Online co-op needs players at launch and few recent games in this gap have drawn large crowds. Add bot bakers for solo play and make friend invites a one-click step.
  • Late waves can swing from trivial to crushing, a common complaint about difficulty. Show the next wave's makeup and playtest the difficulty curve with small groups.
  • Passing ingredients could feel like busywork. Prototype it first and keep each handoff to a single button press.

Price

$10 to $20: Many games in this band found an audience, and it fits a small co-op game with a modest amount of content.
